I know a land
Where people don't get to live
No..they don't even get to die
They try, try, try,
And once again try,
And the world,
It just watches, watches,
And once Again watches,
This world hears each cry
But acts deaf, it doesn't even
bother to try, you know
Just like the rest, it fancies rests
To innocents' split wrists,
Why bother?
With a mother whose
No longer a mother,
Why bother?
With child that no longer
Has a brother,
Why bother?
With families wiped off
The registry records
As if they didn't exist,
A world so busy dicussing a list
That doesn't exist,
So afraid to resist but
Has the audacity to insist being
On the wrong side with zero guilt,
I wonder on what strings was this world's
Heart built?
It worships watching a human melt
And criminalizes anyone who tries to mend
A wound or two cuz it's so hard
For devils to pretend so they fake
The right to defend,
I despise a world where death is
Celebrated and lives are trapped
But never liberated...
