Ruins

To this life we come and from this life we go
The best and worst of the talk is left behind us
So bless whose merits are still fragrant even when
Gone, and woe to who spent his life spreading
evil around
I saw the remains of "Hiroshima" and was appalled
By the destruction that can't find in words a place
I saw destruction and what a destruction I saw!
The brick here is now melting like a candle does
In seconds bodies are evaporating while others
at the city end from afar got injured
In agony they spent the rest of their lives
Tormented by the radiation left behind
Among the victims a young lady and elderlies
For at the front line, the guys were already by
force gone, quarter million in a quarter minute
were already lost, by "Hiroshima" or "Nagasaki"
before the world's eyes' this all has been done
