The art of letting go isn't easy to draw
You force yourself to grow and bear the
agony so you're united with your glow
Your mind, is constantly; with thoughts
Getting bombarded, but you bear the weights
to save your heart so it's no longer discarded
You build a castle in the back of your head
thinking it'll lead to heaven, not long after you
Realize you were being emotionally driven
That all the pixels of your imaginary heaven
Were distorted and it's gonna take quite some
Time for them to be, again; sorted
All what you wanted was a happily ever after
But "ever" turned into "never" and so did the
Way you visioned the world from your big eyes
That couldn't see the world better, with a mind
Not so clever; to tell apart the good and the evil
and a tongue so honest, it knew not how to wheedle
It hurts to be attached to people, to things and
to dreams that are real in fairy lands,
but it hurts more to choose any of that
and be from your own ego detached
